Mr. Westervelt has taught dyslexic students for the past 33 years. He is the Assistant Head of The Jemicy School, Baltimore, Maryland and is the founder and former Director of Camp Glencoe, a boarding/day camp for dyslexic students. |

Joyce Bilgrave, M. Ed.

Mrs. Bilgrave's four decades of academic and camp experience span the United States. She is the co-founder and former Director of The Jemicy School of Baltimore, Maryland, a nationally acclaimed program of excellence for dyslexic students. She co-founded and directed Camp Bombadil, a day camp for dyslexic students, and Big Rock Creek Camp, a conference center and outdoor science program in the Angeles National Forest of southern California. More recently, Mrs. Bilgrave was instrumental in founding the Rawson-Saunders School for dyslexic children in Austin, Texas.

M.J. Bilgrave co-founded and directed Pacific Quest Outdoor Adventures which
specialized in group outdoor adventures and educational programs in Hawaii
and the Pacific. M.J. has been teaching dyslexic students for the past 13
years. She is currently a faculty member of Grace Preparatory Academy of
Durango where she teaches English and Algebra. She has a private tutoring
practice working with dyslexic students. She has been a master tutor at DMC
for nine years. |
Additional staff will include academic language therapists, instructors for each of the activities, counselors and support personnel. |
