DURANGO MOUNTAIN CAMP is happy to offer a
day-camp component for youngsters ages 10 - 13
Camp Dates: June 25 - July 31, 2010
Time: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. |
| The Day camp will follow the format of the overnight program, with each student receiving approximately 4 hours of academic work daily: |

An hour each of the following:
Individual 1 - 1 tutoring
Individualized study hall
Art
Keyborading and composition skills
1/2 hour oral reading

Additionally, campers participate in the Outdoor Pursuits in the afternoon
from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. with Boarding Campers.
These activities may include: |

Mountain biking
Wild Colorado
Horseback riding
Technical Rock Climbing
Kayaking
Scuba (12 & over)

Day Campers will go home at 5 p.m. Weekends will be spent with families, returning to camp at 8:00 Monday morning. There will be selected weekend activities in which campers can participate, should they wish.
Lunch and mid-morning snacks will be provided at the Camp.
